In order to be listed on validcpr.org, you must provide Valid American Heart Association courses.

Course Times

You must list the start time and length of the class
Many CPR companies do not list the length of their courses on their website so that they can teach Challenge courses which have been banned by the American Heart Association for many years.

You must have on your website the official and current American Heart Association logo. If you are a training site, you must list your training center under the logo (per AHA guidelines)

Office

In order to be listed, you must provide proof that you have an actual office. We can accept a business license or lease. If you teach classes in shared workspaces like Regus or Wework, you will not be approved.

Price Transparency

You must list the full prices of your courses. This means if you are teaching Heartcode, you must list the price of the heartcode course or the total price.

Book Policy

If you are teaching instructor-led courses, you must state on your website the official American Heart Association guidelines regarding the book policy and that all students must have the book before, during, and after the class. You must show the price you are charge for the book,  a statement that says the book is required, and a way for the students to purchase the book.

Listing Fee

At this time, we are not accepting payment for your listing. Also, as part of the vetting process, we may send a secret shopper to your business to confirm that you are conducting courses according to AHA guidelines.

Competitors

It is possible that more than one company in your area will qualify to be listed on our network. However, we are only listing compliant courses on this website. 

Acceptance

Valid CPR reserves full discretion whether to list your company on our website. Your website will be monitored on a regular basis and if you no longer follow AHA guidelines, your listing will be removed. If you are one of the many CPR companies that teach fraudulent American Heart Association courses, please do not apply. We are only accepting companies that teach valid American Heart Association courses.
